DAILY DEVOTIONS AT JOYPALS.COM

A vital daily activity for every Christian is their devotional life. A time set apart to spend time with our Saviour, to read and meditate on His Word, to pray, to sing, and to learn. It is a part of our daily schedule that is not negotiable. Plan a devotional time that works into your schedule. It doesn't have to be a long period of time but should include the elements of Bible reading and prayer. It is helpful if you keep a spiritual journal listing your daily activities with the Lord.* Once you establish the daily habit of keeping track of your devotions, you will find it the best way to do so. Just miss a day and it glares out from the empty white page at you! Jesus said, "I will never leave you or forsake you." He is always with us, in our presence, we NEED to be actively devoting time to Him in His presence. It will result in even more blessings to us and to others.

"Thou wilt show me the path of life: in Thy presence is fulness of joy;
at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore."
Psalm 16:11

Question 1:
What is your only comfort in life and in death?

Answer 1:
That I, with body and soul, both in life and in death,[1] am not my own,[2] but belong to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ,[3] who with His precious blood [4] has fully satisfied for all my sins,[5] and redeemed me from all the power of the devil;[6] and so preserves me [7] that without the will of my Father in heaven not a hair can fall from my head;[8] indeed, that all things must work together for my salvation.[9] Wherefore, by His Holy Spirit, He also assures me of eternal life,[10] and makes me heartily willing and ready from now on to live unto Him.[11]
