SHINING AS LIGHTS IN THE
WORLD.....
It is the time to shine for Christ...
It is the time to know when and how to speak...
But you say, "what do we speak?"
We speak the words of Christ --
We tell that old story of Jesus and His love
We tell them that He came, lived and died
to save His people from their sins.
Yes, we shout it from the rooftops....
We go, we pray, we work, we serve...
We are children of our Heavenly Father
He came, He served, He died
for who?
for us
and we,
who are His children,
are to
go
and
serve
and
pray.
We don't hide in our homes behind
"self-righteous" holier-than-thou attitudes like the Pharisees
of old
but we:
reach out
we bind up
we love and feed and comfort
and we pray
for what?
That our God will have mercy
That our God will save to the uttermost
That our God will bless His people
That our God will give life and hope and comfort
to those that are grieving now
and
tomorrow when these things are passed.
We are Christians --
Christ-followers
we resemble our Lord Jesus Christ
We are His offspring
and so we go, and serve, and share...
Are you sharing the good news of Jesus Christ
today with the lost?
God has brought these things upon us here in our "Jerusalems"
so that we will "go out" and spread abroad to every tongue and
nation that
at the Name above all names, Jesus
Christ,
every knee will bow and every tongue confess
that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father.
Have mercy, be pitiful and go
today ...
it could have been you
in the World Trade Center
at the Pentagon...
in Pennsylvania
in one of those airplanes
with a few moments left
and without Christ.
He has been merciful...
You be children of your Father...
go and tell
the world that Jesus saves.
